Boachsoft SmartManager

Boachsoft, company founded back in 2004 and lead by Yaw Boakye – Yiadom, provides the Boachsoft SmartManager software application to anyone who has a video rental store and wants an efficient means of keeping track of customers, managing the DVDs that are rented to said customers, and staying on top of the finances associated with running this type of business.

The system requirements for running Boachsoft SmartManager on a PC are as follows: at least 400MB of free disk space, 512MB of RAM or more, graphics card capable of 1024x720 resolution, and a Windows operating system, anything from Windows 2000 up to Windows 8. Download an 8.2MB executable, run it, and a few moments later you will have Boachsoft SmartManager up and running.

The application’s interface isn’t exactly what I would call pretty, but it is easy to use and helps you get things done fast. To the left, on the application’s interface, there are two buttons: Main and Reports. Select Main and you will see a quick summary: number of movies, number of customers, today’s revenue, titles rented today. You will also have easy access to several buttons for renting, returning, reserving movies, and more.

To help you get started, Boachsoft SmartManager offers to load a demo database. This database contains info on 81 movies, 61 items, and 9 customers. Play around with the database to uncover how to rent movies, how to return movies, how to edit and add info about movies, and how to manage the database of customers.

The functionality Boachsoft SmartManager has to offer will keep you happy and your customers happy. As already mentioned, with this application you can manage a collection of movies, rent out movies, manage your finances, and print out receipts. You can also send out emails to your customers; you can send out emails that inform them about the movies they need to return and emails congratulating them on their birthday.
